The Bible's more than a book: It's a Library
Written by messengers, in fifteen centuries
Through the Old Testament, the LORD calls us to life
In Thirty Nine Hebrew books written way before Christ
Torah is Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers
And Deuteronomy with God's Law and wonders
History has Joshua, and Judges and Ruth
Double Samuel and Kings, and two Chronicles too
Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther the brave queen
Job, Psalms, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes
Song of Solomon ends the Wisdom track
Then the Prophets all come, to call us back
Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Lamentations
Ezekiel, Daniel; Twelve more to mention:
Hosea and Joel, Amos and Obadiah
Jonah, Micah, Nahum, as we climb higher
Habakkuk, Zephaniah, then comes Haggai
Zechariah's next, and at last Malachi

Between Two Testaments are Deuterocanonicals,
But Christians disagree, so they're not numerical:
With Wisdom and Tobit, Sirach and Maccabees,
Judith and some others, all written in Greek.
Through the New Testament, we learn the mission of Christ
In Twenty Seven Greek books written after his life
We got Gospels by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
Acts of the Apostles tells how they moved on
Epistles include Romans and Corinthian twins
Galatians and Ephesians and Philippians
Colossians, Thessalonians one and two
Paul wrote Timothy twice, and told Titus the truth
Philemon was challenged on his treatment of slaves
Hebrews is very deep. James says how to behave
First and second Peter; Then John wrote three
Jude, then Revelation declares God's Victory
That's the list of Books in the Bible's contents
So we know Christ's Way and follow where He went.
